Pay for Print - Copy - Scan to Email Information

 

Description:

Pay for print services are available from the University Library open lab.

 

Prices:

BLACK/WHITE PRINTS & COPIES - 7¢ PER PAGE
COLOR PRINTS & COPIES - 22¢ PER PAGE

 

Deposit Locations:

Pay-for-Print deposits can be made to your account at the University Library Open Computer Lab (1st floor).

How to Print:

  1. You must have funds available in your student printing account.
  2. Log in to any available computer using your UTB email address and password.
  3. Log in to PaperCut when prompted to do so using your UTB email address and password.
  4. Once computer has loaded, open the document or file you wish to print.
  5. Locate the PRINT command, and under PRINT OPTIONS select PRINTER 1 or PRINTER 2.  Ensure the printer properites are set to black and white or color as desired.
  6. Click OK button and your document will automatically print after confirming.
  7. Retrieve your documents from the selected printer as soon as possible (printers are labeled).

Depositing Funds:

  1. Locate the DEPOSIT/RELEASE STATION in the computer lab.
  2. Log in with your UTB email address and password.
  3. Deposit your cash to the deposit machine. The deposit station accepts coins, and $1, $5, and $10 bills. (No pennies, pesos, or other foreign coins)
  4. Verify your deposit amount on the screen display.Click DONE, located on the bottom right of the screen, funds will be available immediately for use.
  5. Click on Add to Personal Account.

Wireless Printing Instructions

  1. Access https://printmgr.utb.edu:9192/user on your laptop (Internet access must be available and you must have funds on your pay-for-print account.)
  2. Log in to the website with your UTB email address and password.
  3. Once you are logged in, click on Web Print.
  4. On the following webpage, click on Submit a Job >>
  5. Select the printer location where you want to print your document, then click 2. Print Options and Account Selection.
  6. Specify how many copies of your document you wish to print, then click 3. Upload Document.
  7. Click Browse and search for the document you wish to print, then click Upload and Complete.
  8. It will show Submit Time, Printer, Document Name, Pages, Cost and Status.
  9. Once the status shows "Finished: Queued and Printing," pick up your printout at the selected printer.

How to make Copies:

  1. You must have funds available in your student printing account.
  2. Log in to the PRINTER with your UTB email address and password, and then press LOGIN.
  3. Press the COPIER hard button located on the left side of the machine, outside of screen, to activate the copy function on the machine.
  4. Place your document on the top left corner of the top glass facing down, or on the top feeder tray facing up.
  5. Type in the amount of copies you want by using the hard button number pad on the right side of machine.
  6. Press the Start hard button on the right hand side of machine, outside of screen, once you are ready to make your copies.
  7. Once you have finished with all your copies, press the OTHER FUNCTIONS button on the left hand side, outside of the screen and press LOGOUT on screen.
    * If you have double sided pages, or irregular paper sizes, please ask a lab assistant for help.

How to Scan-to-Email:

  1. Press the SCANNER hard button located on the left side of the machine, outside of screen, to activate the scan-to-email function on the machine
  2. Select the soft button MANUAL ENTRY, located on screen. Input the email address you wish to send the documents to and press OK.
  3. Place your document on the top left corner of the top glass facing down, or on the top feeder tray facing up. (Only 60 seconds are allowed during each scan, otherwise you will be logged off)
  4. Finally, press the Start button, on the bottom right of panel to begin scanning your documents.
  5. Printouts will be sent directly to the email specified, no confirmation will be given.
  6. Once you have finished with all your copies, press the OTHER FUNCTIONS button on the left hand side, outside of the screen and press LOGOUT button on screen.
