This help article applies to students, faculty and staff. Microsoft Security Essentials is available for personal computers free of charge.
 
 
How to:
 
Download your FREE Microsoft Security Essentials Software:
 
1. Uninstall existing antivirus products.

2. Go to http://www.microsoft.com/security_essentials and download the install the Security Essentials software.

3. After the installation, the software will prompt you to initiate a scan of your computer.   Select the checkbox to start the san and click on the Finish button.
DON’T SURF WITHOUT UP-TO-DATE VIRUS PROTECTION!!
